What an incredible evening! Our inaugural Leprechaun-Orienteering event at Fresh Pond Reservation was a massive success, drawing 124 participants of all ages who were ready for some festive fun! šš
Participants of all ages and skill levels explored Fresh Pond, searching for checkpoints while trying to outwit the mischievous Leprechauns who kept moving them around! š It wasnāt just about finding the controls; it was about teamwork, problem-solving, and the occasional happy accidentāstories of fixing mistakes and tracking down elusive markers filled the air!
This event marked our spring follow-up to our annual fall Vampire-O, where we saw a record turnout in 2024, and we couldn't be more thrilled to keep the momentum going with such an enthusiastic crowd! We absolutely love seeing these events grow and connect our community.
We want to extend a HUGE thank you to the City of Cambridge for funding the event, making it free for all participants, and to the fantastic Fresh Pond Reservation staff and board for hosting us! š
A special shoutout goes to our incredible volunteers, including the coach and members of the CRLS Orienteering Team. You all helped make this event a success, and we couldnāt have done it without you! š
Lastly, a massive thank you to everyone who donated to Navigation Games. Your support helps us bring more awesome events like this to life! ā¤ļø
