Our Services

Outdoor Education Providers
Navigation Games partners with outdoor education providers to co-promote our programming, and add orienteering to your existing programs. We can get a map made, host public orienteering events at your site, prepare activities suitable for your location and clientele, and do professional development with your staff so that they can deliver the programs.

Neighborhood Orienteering
Orienteering around familiar places such as your neighborhood is great for developing navigational skills. We can help you create neighborhood courses throughout your district, and accompanying answer sheets, for students and families to do on their own. We can also provide online lesson plans that develop the skills to enable children to do the courses, and tailor them to your class.

After-School Programs
Navigation Games teaches after-school classes at several Community Schools throughout Cambridge. These classes are geared towards children in grades JK-5, with a focus on developing spatial memory and map-reading ability through fun games and activities.

Summer Camps
Navigation Games provides fun, outdoor, and educational summer activities to summer camps throughout the area. Activities vary by location and age group, and may include games such as Animal-Orienteering, Vampire-O, Clothespin Scavenger Hunts, map-drawing, and much more!

Team Building
We organize orienteering team-building outings for corporate groups. We begin with a crash course in orienteering skills such as map reading and compass bearing, then break up into teams for an orienteering activity in the woods designed to foster camaraderie and fun. Please contact us for more info.

College Campus Events
Teams travel all over your campus, visiting checkpoints on a map, learning their way around and making friends. Prizes for the top teams!

For a day off campus, we have curated a forest outing program that is designed to provide students with an opportunity to meet new people and build connections.

Conference Workshop
Navigation Games runs workshops for school and out-of-school educators which teach them how to introduce map navigation skills and activities to any aged group.

Want an activity for your conference attendees, where individuals will be able to work in teams and get to know each other?
We can provide a 60 - 90 minute activity for any sized group where we teach basic map skills and then allow the participants to use those skills. Time is given to review the learnings from the exercise.
